00:06Sabah mining scandal to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission today.

00:10LFL advisor and former MACC chief commissioner Latifa Koya said she received the evidence

00:16from the alleged whistleblower, known as Albert, after meeting him yesterday.

00:21He has not been named before this.

00:24His name is Albert.

00:27I won't mention his surname because of legitimate concerns for his safety.

00:32He asked for our assistance to ensure action is taken based on the evidence in the videos.

00:40She added that her colleague Zaid Malik would submit the material comprising 10 videos to

00:44MACC this afternoon.

00:46There can be no more feet dragging or looking the other way.

00:51Now I end by telling the authorities and the government to protect Albert and not to

00:57prosecute him.

00:59MACC chief Azam Baky previously said a lack of information had made it difficult for MACC

01:05to carry out a thorough investigation.

01:08He also said videos about the alleged scandal lacked credibility and could not be relied

01:12on in the investigations as they had been heavily edited.
