Leeds’ unbeaten run ended by Portsmouth

00:05recent unbeaten run in the championship. The Whites lost 1-0 at Fratton Park, allowing

00:10Sheffield United to remain level on points with them at the top of the table, with ten

00:18For me it was always clear, it was one of the toughest games in the run-in. No other

00:22team has won more points in 2025 at home than Portsmouth, and it was one of those games

00:27I think. Yes, overall of course several key moments in this game. We sadly missed too

00:33many chances. I haven't checked the expected goals, but I think we were definitely not

00:37the worst side. We've had three one-against-one situations on the goalkeeper, Joel Pirot,

00:43first half. Second half was even an empty goal.

00:45Bradford City, meanwhile, missed the chance to go top of League Two, as they lost 1-0

00:50away at Gillingham, thanks to a goal from Connor Masterson. Leeders Walsall were also

00:55beaten, meaning that had Bradford won, they would have overtaken them.

01:00We've come and competed at a good level against, like I say, a physically more dominant team

01:07than us, as in size-wise. But I don't think all in all it gave us that many problems.

01:13I thought we managed it really well. But it was difficult to have that bit of quality

01:17in the final third. Could have been a draw on another day, could have been a 1-0 win

01:21to us on another day. It was just a job on the wrong side of the line. But listen, what

01:26the players have done, 13 games in 40 days, 9 wins, phenomenal.

01:32And Huddersfield Town have sacked head coach Michael Duff, following their 1-0 defeat away

01:37from home against Bristol Rovers. It was the Terriers' fourth loss in five league games,

01:43which had seen them fall out of the play-off places, although they still remained very

01:47much in touching distance, with just a two-point gap between themselves and Bolton Wanderers,

01:53who sit just above them in the table. Huddersfield owner Kevin Nagel said that this was not a

01:59decision he has taken lightly, but made clear that their form since the turn of the year

02:03has not been good enough. The club also confirmed that academy manager and former player John

02:10Worthington will take charge of the first team for the remainder of this season.
