00:02British driver Lewis Hamilton has claimed that Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc races
00:10him harder than any other driver on the Formula 1 grid following their controversial clash
00:17at the Mexico City Grand Prix. The seven-time world champion believes Leclerc takes a different
00:26approach when competing against him after the pair collided on the opening lap in Mexico.
00:35Both drivers were competing to take on Max Verstappen in the early stages of the race and
00:42Leclerc earned himself a five-second time penalty but Hamilton believes the incident cost Ferrari
00:48a potential one-two finish. Now speaking ahead of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix in Brazil,
00:56Hamilton agreed that Leclerc appears more aggressive against him than other rivals,
01:03pointing to decisions Leclerc has made when failing to back off Hamilton in battles.
01:14Now it's believed that there have been some internal conversations at Ferrari to try and avoid the
01:20same situation happening again. Despite this though, the Briton insists he wants to build a
01:26stronger relationship with Leclerc and believes Ferrari can challenge for the championship next
01:33season. However, the Brit stressed that both drivers need to work together to achieve that ambition.
01:41very much better.
