00:11The President gave this to his visit to the Marinas Sur this Friday.
00:15According to the President, there is no other way to address the flood in the region but through the Bicol Region River Basin.
00:24The President also added that now that the plan is updated, it is important that it is implemented properly
00:31so that it is not like the old master plan.
00:34The country needs to adjust and be more prepared for the effects of climate change.
00:42Meanwhile, President Marcos Jr. stated that the plan should be available to all stakeholders
00:48so that they can better understand how it works and the role of the local and national government.
00:57DBWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan first mentioned that the update on the master plan of the project is complete
01:04and that the climate is included in the plan.
01:08The project will be carried out under the Philippine-Korea Project Facilitation Program.
