00:26According to DSWD Standards Bureau Director Megan Therese Manahan,
00:31public solicitation permits are being issued to non-stock and non-profit organizations
00:38with the aim of protecting the public from becoming victims
00:43of illegal solicitation activities and resource generation efforts.
00:48In the online portal launched by the agency called HELPS or Harmonized Electronic License and Permit System,
00:56the approval of the public solicitation permit will be done within 3 working days for temporary permits
01:03and 7 days for regular permits.
01:06DSWD also asked its field offices to monitor the follow-up of SWDAs to their public solicitation permits.
01:17Individuals, groups, and organizations must obtain a solicitation permit from the DSWD
