00:00The session will resume this Monday after the break of this past December.

00:07Some hearings have already started, like the one where the House Committee on Public Order and Safety joined

00:13House Bill No. 893, which is a distant amendment of the Republic Act 10-591

00:20or Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act

00:24to strengthen protection and to increase penalties.

00:28Meanwhile, in the Senate, Senate President Francis Escudero ordered

00:32that the session be suspended today along with the National Rally for Peace of the Church Of Christ.

00:39Because of that, the session of the Senate will resume tomorrow.

00:42Some senators have already made some announcements regarding the return of the session,

00:47like Senator Sherwin Gatchalian, where he insisted that the investigation

00:52on the possible involvement of banks and other financial institutions

00:57in the cases of money laundering, which is related to the illegal activities of POGO.

01:03Senator Grace promised to support the Animal Welfare Bill.

01:08It needs to be more comprehensive and to have a strong law against animal abuse.

01:17Meanwhile, Angelique, the plenary session will be held here in the Chamber

01:21and we will be waiting for some bills or resolutions that will be proposed by congressmen.
