00:21Inspector General of Police Razahuddin Hussain said the investigation began after a man representing

00:26an NGO lodged a report at the Dangwangi Police Station yesterday afternoon.

00:32He said the police will ask the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to

00:36identify the account owner.

00:38Razahuddin said the investigation is being carried out under Section 500 of the Penal

00:44Code for Defamation and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for

00:50improper use of network facilities.

00:53On Wednesday, Anwar had advised the public against condemning Ismail, urging everyone

00:58to give the authorities space to conduct their investigation professionally.
