00:10artist who operates in Guangzhou today, who is using this pith paper to not only mimic

00:17some of the themes and styles of the early 19th century, but she has also developed her

00:23own modern contents, but on pith paper, and is able to use the paper and its attention

00:30to detail to create some wonderful pieces of art, particularly struck by some of her

00:36pictures of animals, because she's able to discern almost each individual hair on a cat,

00:44for example, that makes full use of the material that she's painting on, and the ability to

00:51create that three-dimensional effect, it's very engaging.
