00:14This is certainly a point of strength that must be achieved through three main activities,
00:22which are research, dissemination of the same research, and above all training.
00:31Training is a decisive factor because it allows to broaden and spread the principles,
00:38concepts and results of a research activity that otherwise would often be of a less relevant level of communication with the technical staff and society than what we are trying to do.
00:57I spoke earlier about research, dissemination and training, but there is this other triad of great relevance,
01:06which is the one between those who propose and develop a cross-cutting research field, that is, universities,
01:16those who propose this transfer and an interaction with industrial, institutional and professional partners.
01:25It is a sort of call to arms, I would dare to say, even if this term today can have ambiguities that we absolutely do not refer to,
01:36because it is a great alliance between the subjects, between those intermediate bodies that support the national system.
01:45In this case, we can use and fertilize the points of view, the methodologies, the instruments and the results of a very important research in the field of risks of an anthropic, environmental and natural nature,
02:03which is at the center of the attention of research, but also of the policy of our society.
