00:00The Department of Education or DepEd will hire more than 7,000 administrative support staff

00:07under the Contract of Service for all future education in the country.

00:12Its aim is to reduce the non-teaching task of teachers and to focus on teaching only to students.

00:20Among the reduced work of teachers are the paperwork and administrative tasks.

00:28According to Education Secretary Sani Angara,

00:30there is an opportunity for the salary of the personnel

00:34whose salary is based on the Regional Minimum Wage and has a 12.5% premium.
