00:00The Philippines and Japan continue to strengthen the rules-based international order and the free Indo-Pacific.

00:06These are just a few of the issues discussed by Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. and Japan Defense Minister Jen Nakatani.

00:21Princess, on the launch this Monday of the defense of Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. and Japan Defense Minister Jen Nakatani,

00:29along with the visit of the Japan official, the Philippines and Japan reaffirmed bilateral relations in defense and security.

00:38At the bilateral meeting in Shangri-La, Makati City, Secretary Teodoro helped strengthen the coordination of the two countries

00:46in upholding the rules-based international order and the free Indo-Pacific.

00:53This is in the middle of China and other countries' efforts to change the narrative of the international order.

01:01Meanwhile, in the face of a dangerous security environment, Japan Defense Chief helped strengthen the defense

01:09for peace and order in the region and the international community.

01:14This is based on a deeper strategic discussion on the improvement of cooperation between the two countries at a higher level.

01:22On his visit to the Philippines, Japan Defense Minister first visited the Wallace Air Station in La Union.

01:30Later, it will also have a courtesy call to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
