00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is positive that the Philippines and Japan will strengthen their ties in defense, security, and economy.
00:09This was confirmed by the courtesy call of Japanese National Security Advisor Akiba Takeo in Malacanang.
00:17The two leaders discussed the strong partnership of the two countries that strengthens their efforts in various challenges.
00:25This includes strengthening the interoperability and the efforts to strengthen the position in the South China Sea.
00:34President Marcos also shared the success of strengthening the Reciprocal Access Agreement on December 16 after the Senate approved it.
