00:27After the bilateral meeting with Defense Secretary Gilberto Gibochedoro Jr. in Makati City on Monday,
00:33Japan Defense Minister Gen Nakatani announced the following collaborations.
00:39First, the operational cooperation advancement in bilateral and multilateral training and unity exchanges
00:48and the establishment of strategic dialogue between high-level operational action officers.
00:54Second, the start of discussions between defense authorities
00:59for the distribution of military information protection mechanisms and people-to-people exchanges.
01:06Third, the deepening of cooperation in the use of defense technologies
01:12while confirming that Japan is already working on the development of an air surveillance and radar system.
01:21Meanwhile, Secretary Teodoro assisted in strengthening the cooperation of the two countries
01:27for the rules-based international order and the free and open Indo-Pacific.
