00:22Digital travel platform Agoda has ranked Cebu City as the second most pet-friendly travel

00:27destination in Asia. Cebu City veterinarian Dr. Alice Utlang said the city is strictly

00:32implementing RA 8485 and other pertinent laws to protect the welfare of the animals.

00:57One is we have ordinances that protects the welfare of dogs and cats.

01:03We don't impound but we do CNDR or cats vaccinate neuter and return to where the dog was picked up.

01:14Eric Esquizan who adopted nine dogs is asking Cebuanos to adopt more animals

01:19and help lessen the number of stray dogs in Cebu City.

01:28Dr. Utlang is encouraging Cebuanos to be more responsible pet owners

01:38by registering their pet with the DMFV office.
