00:00President Ferdinand Marquez, Jr. has signed into law a measure postponing the parliamentary elections of the Bangsa Maratonimus region in Muslim Mindanao or BARMM.

00:11Malacanang confirmed on Friday that law was signed over an hour after it was revealed by Commission on Elections or ECOMOLEC Chair George Erwin Garcia during a press conference.

00:24The BARMM parliamentary elections, originally scheduled on May 12, will be held on October 13, 2025.

00:33Earlier this month, the poll body postponed the printing of ballots for the BARMM parliamentary elections following the Bicameral Conference Committee's decision to move the dates for the election.
