Jim Jones is having a hard time wrapping his head around the bruhaha revolving around Snoop Dogg, Nelly and other rap stars performing for Donald Trump's Prezzy gala ... he remembers the time rappers were considered enemies of the state!!!

01:11you would consider? Do you think that people are just keeping it real? Should they not

01:15be doing it for the culture? Where are we with this?

01:19I'm going to take it to the days where I knew the president is the president and we

01:24wasn't allowed to get to the White House and anything to be next to the White House used

01:28to be a great thing to do because you're now talking to the president or you're performing

01:33for the president. The president is still the president. It was a race. Somebody lost

01:37the race. Somebody won the race. So what do they expect us to do? To disrespect the president

01:41because that person didn't want to know? He's still the president of the United States.

01:45So we still have to show that much respect to the president of the United States. That's

01:50how I feel about it. And I'm not political and shit like that. I didn't vote for anybody

01:54here. So if I was to get an invitation, no matter who was in the office, nine times out

02:00of 10, I think I'm a pop out to go to the White House. Like I'm a kid from the projects

02:06that we known the president to be the ruler of the world when we was coming up and we

02:11seen people go crazy just to have. So I said, I want my chance to go to be at the White

02:15House to see what's going on. That's how I feel and shit like that. I ain't got, don't

02:22crucify me for just giving you my honest opinion.
