00:00Trabaho para sa mga Pilipino. Ito ang binigyang dini Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs,

00:08Secretary Frederick Goh, sa nakatakdang roadshows ng pamahalaan sa iba't-ibang mga bansa.

00:13Layunin itong makikahit ng investors na mumuhunan sa Pilipinas.

00:17Ito'y matapos malagdaan na ang Implementing Rules of Regulation o IRR para sa Create More Law,

00:22nalayo magkaroon ng tax incentive para sa local at foreign companies.

00:26It's useless to have a law and to have IRR that nobody knows about.

00:30So our job now is to announce it to the world.

00:33Our responsibility is to let the investors know about Create More, how it will benefit them,

00:39how it will improve the ease of doing business, how it will reduce the cost of doing business.

00:44Una sa pupuntahan ng roadshow ay ang South Korea na posibleng gawin sa March o April.

00:49Ayong kay Goh, una na nakalinya rito ang posibleng P50 billion pesos na investment mula sa Samsung Electronics.

00:55Kasama sa pagtutunan ng pansin ng Kaliim ay ang semiconductor industry na siyang pinak malaking industriya sa bansa.

01:02Kabilan din sa target na puntahan ay ang United States, Japan, Europe, Middle East at maging sa China.

01:08Dagdag ng Kaliim ang Create More Law ay hindi lang incentive para sa foreign companies, kundi maging sa local companies dito sa bansa.

01:25They're the one who's fully committed to the Philippines, right? So we have to take care of them.

01:31Noong nakaraang 2024, naiitala ng bansa ang nasa 1.95 trillion pesos na investment.

01:37Ang pinakamataas sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas, mas mataas ng 33% kumpara noong 2023.

01:44Our goal is to bring in as much investments as we can, right? And provide jobs to the people and lead economic growth that way.

01:54Because an investment-led economy is really more sustainable.

01:58Samantala, nais din ang Kaliim na magkaroon ng electric vehicle industry sa bansa.

02:03Kaya sa kasalukuyang tinitingin na nila kung paano ito masusuportahan.

02:08Ang public transportation ang unang industriya na nakikita nila para sa development ng electric vehicle.
