00:00The second tranche of the salary adjustment for government officials is now effective.
00:07Based on the National Budget Circular 597 issued by the Department of Budget Management or DBM this Monday,
00:15the new salary rates include all government employees from the Executive, Legislature, Judiciary and Government Agencies,
00:25as well as members of the military and uniformed personnel.
00:29They will receive the necessary funds for the salary adjustment in the Miscellaneous Personal Benefits Fund
00:36and the budgeted agencies under the 2025 General Appropriations Act.
00:44According to DBM, government corporations will receive their funds from their corporate operating budgets.
00:52The changes in the salary are part of the implementation of Executive Order 64
00:58which aims to improve the system of compensation for government employees from 2024 to 2027.
