00:15The local government of Quezon City encouraged the parents
00:19to immediately bring their children to health centers and hospitals
00:22who are experiencing symptoms of dengue.
00:25In a statement of Radyo Pilipinas,
00:27Epidemiology and Surveillance Division Chief Dr. Rolly Cruz said
00:32that the majority of those affected by dengue
00:35are between the ages of 5 and 17 years old.
00:38The QCLGU urged residents not to worry
00:42because dengue test kits are free
00:45and because the outbreak has already been declared in the city,
00:48its health centers are open every Saturday and Sunday.
00:52We urge the parents to bring their children to the nearest health center
00:58so that they can immediately see a doctor
01:03to assess if this is dengue or not.
01:09To completely eradicate dengue,
01:11the city's authorities have ordered the help
01:14of Dengue Prevention and Control.
