00:30The DOH also gave that having a healthy community is more important than implementing health programs.
00:37This is also due to the various things that affect the overall health of a person,
00:42such as the proper and quick use of health services,
00:45and the lack of money should not be the reason.
00:49Promoting and recognizing healthy communities
00:52means acknowledging the vital role that the local governments play
00:57in shaping environments, policies, and behaviors in ways that promote collective well-being.
01:05Because of this, the Pasay City LGU was made a champion for the health of the communities of the DOH.
01:12This is based on the joint administrative order of the DOH
01:15with the Department of Interior and Local Government.
01:18In the Pasay City LGU, it is important to have sustainability in the policies
01:23that are implemented in the programs of the DOH, such as universal health care.
01:27We have 13 health centers where all services are provided
01:32that our fellow Filipinos should be able to get.
01:36These health centers will be like small hospitals
01:41where there will be birthing or delivery,
01:45different laboratory examinations,
01:48even our own X-ray rooms.
01:52This includes other facilities such as the availability of pharmacies
01:56in each health center and other changes in the hospital of the city.
