00:00The top pitcher in all of fantasy last year, Cy Young Award winner was Tariq Scouble of Detroit.

00:05He's the highest pitcher off the board, followed by Zach Wheeler, Dylan Cease, Chris Sale you see there, Logan Gilbert.

00:12Another, I mean, this is basically the rankings going into this year, minus one player who I do want to mention.

00:17Aaron Nola, Seth Lugo, Pablo Lopez, Michael King. San Diego's rotation seems pretty stacked going into the season.

00:24So conceptually, George, pitching, I don't know how you see it.

00:27I always seem to fall short on my numbers in roto with innings and with strikeouts.

00:32Like, it just doesn't matter what I do. I always fall short with these numbers.

00:37I'm scrambling always to pick guys up. I have to do a better job of that this year.

00:41Yeah, I think it's because you and I have been playing forever, where generally back in the day, first five rounds, one starting pitcher.

00:48You know, generally how I went, and I'll fill it in with guys after that.

00:51The game has changed too much now with all these guys throwing a million miles an hour and strikeouts.

00:56I now need two, you know, and I might even get three in the first six rounds.

01:01It's just, it's just changed. It's almost like I'm taking a pitcher every other round nowadays here.

01:05So yeah, also in the first two rounds, also round one's the best hitter.

01:09That's just generally the way it works out for me. Round two is the best starting pitcher available.

01:12You know, whatever it might be there.

01:14And Zach Wheeler is a guy I seem to have, I'm targeting a lot of leagues.

01:18I don't know if I trust Chris Sale to do this again. You know, I'm not, I'm not against him, mind you.

01:23I don't know. He's getting up there at age. Can he do it again here?

01:25Dylan Cease at four is interesting. You mentioned the San Diego rotation.

01:29There's a lot of smoke about him being traded. New ownership group there.

01:35Maybe they want to move a contract. I need to know where he's going.

01:39And I, it seems like there's two teams that make sense here.

01:45And one in each league here, the Baltimore Orioles, who did nothing as far as their pitching staff,

01:49which is, I don't understand. You lose on Corbin Brunson, you do nothing here.

01:53And we know they have the prospects. And of course the New York Mets,

01:56who also didn't really add to that staff here and they have the prospects.

02:01So I want to go to one of those two teams, which make me feel even better about it.

02:05Something that's the Mets, a better ballpark, good team there.

02:07So I do wonder if he gets moved here.

02:10Naturally, we'll talk Paul Skeens on the show a lot this season.

02:14Skeens did not score fantasy-wise inside the top 15, but we'll talk about him.

02:19And coming up, we'll get through 11 through 20.

02:22But the one named George that's going really high in fantasy, it's stunning to me how high he is going.

02:28I don't get it. I don't understand it. But I guess if you're trying to win a league, you do it.

02:32I cannot believe that Jacob deGrom is one of the top pitchers off the board in fantasy this year.

02:37I can't believe it. Based on five starts.

02:42In my home league, I can three keepers. I draft, you lose the round, you kept them.

02:47And I have DeGrom like round 20. And I'm still not sure I'm keeping him.

02:50He's not making anywhere near 32 starts. 21 and a half.

02:55He's going in the first four rounds of fantasy baseball this year.
