00:00Now, this has been the biggest shock in fantasy from a pitching perspective over the last 10 days.
00:07George Jesus Lizardo, when we were here, I believe it was last Sunday, or maybe it was just before that,
00:13was leading the National League in war for all pitchers in the National League.
00:20And then he gave up 20 runs in five and two-thirds, six strikeouts, five walks.
00:29Now, here's what I'm going to tell you about Jesus Lizardo, George.
00:33Saw him pitch for many years in Miami, saw some of this happen.
00:40I got to be honest with you, I hope for the best here, I'm not buying this.
00:46I am not buying Jesus Lizardo.
00:48I'm worried.
00:49I'm worried something's up.
00:51There's been something up, unfortunately, with Lizardo, who, again, I liked very much when he was here.
00:56But when this stuff sort of happened, you had to wonder, is there an issue?
01:01I'm going to let this play out.
01:02I'm not going to buy or trade for Lizardo.
01:05I'm probably not going to sell either, by the way, and hope he turns it around.
01:08But, yeah, I mean, I got a little bit of a concern level here.
01:11Well, you probably can't sell him right now, at least not for anywhere near even value, right?
01:17You can sell for, what, $0.80 on the dollar, coming off two awful starts.
01:21I brought up Brandon Fatt earlier.
01:23I mean, how many Rosses out there had Fatt and Lizardo?
01:26All right, you just want to jump off a bridge because it's over.
01:29So, once again, you're going to have some issues here.
01:32Like I said, it goes through my mind as well.

01:39Is he hurt that they're just trying to pitch through it here?
01:41Is it just a dead ball, you know, dead arm?

01:46He only has one start next week, even though it's on a Tuesday, and it's against the Chicago Cubs.
01:51Not in my lineup.
01:52He sits next week for me.
01:53I'll sit.
01:54The week after that, he'll be a two-start week, and the first start comes against the Miami Marlins.
01:59Go figure.
02:00We'll see how he does on Tuesday, but probably gets back in my lineup for that.
02:04His second start will come against the New York Mets later that weekend.
02:07And so, I'm not trading because I can't get equal value here, but I'm not starting him next week.

02:13Fair enough.
02:14Now, I kind of feel the opposite on the next subject here, Spencer Strider.
02:19You know, the issue is that somebody drafted him probably not as high because they knew he was going to miss some time,
02:25and so they held him for a while.
02:26And it's going to be hard to pluck this guy out for, as you said, like 50, 60 cents on the dollar.
02:31But I'd be willing to take a shot here on Strider because he does have a contract.
02:36No matter where the Braves are headed, it would be so silly for them to even consider moving him if he didn't have a good year.
02:42So, this is probably a player for me that if I could grab, and especially in the Dynasty League, I would take my shot here.
02:49I mean, remember, the guy missed a full year of baseball.
02:52Missed a full year.
02:53He's only thrown 19 innings.
02:55What, he's got three starts?
02:56Four?
02:57And one was before the hamstrings, only three since he came back?
03:00Yeah, I'm with you.
03:01Somebody wants to trade him, I'll definitely take a shot.
03:03You want to trade him in a Dynasty League, I'll certainly take a shot here, or Keeper League for that matter here.
03:08So, yeah, you might have to eat it for a little bit, but I think he'll be better in the second half than he was in the first.
03:13Listen, we know this with Tommy John.
03:14Not everyone comes back, and his ace is from start one on.
03:18He might take him four or five, six, eight starts before he truly figures it out here.
03:21So, I'm with you here.
03:22I would trade for Strider.
03:24He probably is in my lineup next week.
03:27I'm probably going to roll him out there.
03:29I understand wins could be an issue because the Atlanta Braves aren't pitching well, aren't playing well.
03:33So, maybe that's a problem if you're in a points league here.
03:36His next start will come against Colorado.
03:40You know, he plays Colorado next week and San Francisco on Sunday.
03:44You know, San Fran might be a little bit of a problem.
03:45Colorado, you're starting him.
03:46So, yeah, I'm riding with Spencer Strider.
03:48He's in my lineup.

03:50So, now you're a little jaded by Brandon Fott, starting pitcher on the Diamondbacks.
03:54It looked like the month of April, this guy is going to be the new ace of the Diamondbacks.
03:58They got three aces, right?
03:59They got Burns, Gallon, and Fott, right?
04:02How's that working out right now?
04:03Wow, he's been beat up.
04:055.51 earned run average after getting that long-term extension.
04:10You know, I'm probably a buy here.
04:13I'm probably going to trade for him.
04:15You know, George, the thing is, is that you look at the Diamondbacks.
04:19And this is not, you know, when they spent, now I know they gave Jordan Montgomery a lot of money, okay?
04:23And they screwed that up.
04:24But generally speaking, they're a pretty sharp organization.
04:28I don't think that they could have screwed this one up so badly.
04:32That's my thought process for a guy like this.
04:34I probably would buy.
04:37I am sort of, I'm not going to buy.

04:54So, it's against Brian Wu.

04:56So, man, Wu's pitch really well.
04:59So, W could be tough to come by here.
05:01Seattle probably not going to light him up.
05:03So, you're probably not worried about getting destroyed again.
05:04But two bad starts in a row.
05:06I think you're on my bench.
05:07The problem is, the week after that is, well, his first start is going to come against Toronto.

05:13That bam box.
05:14So, once again.
05:16And then his other starts likely to come at Colorado.
05:18Yeah, he's probably not starting for me for a little while, Kirk.
