00:27sort of thinking through next year, Kurtz has a long way to go,

00:31but if I close my eyes and dream here for 2026 drafts,

00:39Nick Kurtz, would he be a top 50 pick in fantasy baseball?

01:34First base is not deep anyway.

01:42That being said, he's going to have to,

01:44sooner or later they're going to figure him out a little bit, right?

01:46He's going to have to make adjustments.

01:48You know, so we'll see.

01:49He looks fantastic right now.

01:50As it stands right now, yeah, I think he's easily top 50.

01:53I think he's more of a late third, fourth round pick.

02:00What we're seeing this year means he's going to play another year next year.

02:03Five home runs, eight runs driven in, 400 batting average,

02:06entire season really has held up.

02:10He's had a wonderful career.

02:12George not ready to put him in the Hall of Fame.

02:14He's not ready to put anyone in.

02:16But I got news for you.

02:17You better get ready because this guy's going in.

02:21He's had a nice year again, George.

02:22He's lasted, he's outlasted Yachty Molina.

02:26My guy JT Romudo is putting better numbers up than him.

02:29And, you know, he's kind of played a little bit longer than JT there too.

02:33Still draftable in fantasy baseball, George.

02:35Still a good player.

02:36I mean, he can't run a lick at all.

02:38I saw him in Miami the other day.

02:39I mean, it's like going to first base is silly.

02:42But beyond that, he's still a very good catcher and still a good hitter.

02:47Yeah, he's certainly still a pick in fantasy, right?

02:51Even though you and I both know that catcher is so much better nowadays, right?

02:55So much better than what used to be.

02:57Still playing two catcher leagues is silly here.

02:59But once again, you just go through catchers real quick.

03:01He's easy to meet top 10.

03:03I mean, I think what's the worst that could happen next year?

03:06He hits 20 home runs?

03:08He's going to hit 20 home runs in the bombs.

03:09We'll take that anyway.

03:10The average will be okay, more than likely.

03:12He's not going to leg out any infield singles.

03:14That's the way it is.

03:15But, yeah, he's still playing.

03:16And, yeah, I do think he's a Hall of Famer, by the way.

03:19Oh, my God.

03:20Not the best of the best or anything, but I do think he's a Hall of Famer.

03:23You know, it's funny.

03:25I guess we can talk about this more than football.

03:27I heard a question the other day.

03:29If you were going to do a Mount Rushmore, one for each sport, who would it be for football?

03:33You know, of current players, you know, and I did have to end up putting Pat Mahomes because I don't know if I found anybody else.

03:39That was painful for you.

03:41Yeah.

03:41I tried.

03:42I really tried to find somebody who's, you know, been there 10 years, who is a Hall of Famer.

03:47There's no one there.

03:47There are great players there, but no one with longevity.

03:50There's no Barry Sanders at the end of his career, or Emmitt Smith at the end of his career, or Jerry Rice.

03:55You know, there's no one like that there.

03:56So, to make you happy, I did put Pat Mahomes as far as the Mount Rushmore and current NFL players.
