00:06Gulf News has a campaign going on for its staff to vaccinate them and it has been a very successful

00:14one so far. Hundreds of staff members have come forward and taken the vaccine. Today we are giving

00:20the second dose of vaccine. The feedback has been amazing. Our staff members are so happy. This

00:26should actually be an inspiration for as many companies. Trust me, vaccinating your staff is

00:31the best way to be. Majority of your staff got vaccinated. It's a well-thought plan. I really

00:39thank Gulf News and your management to take the first initiative to ensuring that the people,

00:46those who are delivery persons, the people that you are distributing the newspapers, your back

00:52office, your reporters all got involved and this is a quite good step and it's a very important

00:58step for the nation as well because once you are vaccinated you are safe for yourself and you are

01:03safe for others. We are working in a distribution department. We are connected to a direct client.

01:10So that's good for us. The moment it doesn't get a new host or even the new host is not able to

01:16spread it to another new host who is already protected by a vaccine then it becomes easier.

01:22Like you're cutting the fuel off to the fire that is the virus that's spreading. It's good for the

01:27company also because you know if something goes wrong then absenteeism is there. It's important.

01:34I think all companies should take some interest and do it. It's good for the country also.
