00:00It was smooth sailing at the Dubai Health Authority's primary health center in Zabeel
00:07as national and expats walked in by appointment for their Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination for
00:12COVID-19.
00:14The vaccination, which is given in two doses within a gap of 21 days, is being administered
00:19after residents make a call on the DHA hotline.
00:22A unique medical registration number is issued, and based on this MRN, residents are able
00:28to take an appointment at the nearest primary health center through the DHA app.
00:32Currently, this is the first phase of the vaccination campaign, where the focus is on
00:36Emirati citizens, residents above 60 years of age, residents with comorbidities, and
00:41people of determination.
00:43Despite the vaccination drive, DHA and all UAE authorities have requested that residents
00:48not drop their guard and continue to observe all COVID-19 protocols, such as wearing face
00:54masks, hand washing, observing social distancing, and the use of hand sanitizers.
