Extensive campaign launched to vaccinate senior residents against Covid-19 in UAE

Several senior citizens in Dubai received the SARS COV-2 vaccine, SinoPharm, on Wednesday as part of an initiative organised by the UAE Community Development Authority (CDA) at various Customer Happiness Centers for Social Affairs across the emirate. On the first day of the campaign, which was launched at the Customer Happiness Centers of CDA across Dubai, more than 150 senior residents got their first dose of the vaccine at the centre in Jumeirah. 00:00We are hosting the senior citizens in the UAE to receive the COVID-19 vaccine under

00:07the national campaign Together We Recover.

00:10This category of the community is very important to all of us and having them to take the vaccine

00:16is a priority.

00:17The vaccine is provided in all medical centers across the UAE with the priority for the senior

00:23citizens.

00:24Together we tried our best through our services for this important category in the community

00:30to provide this vaccine also in our community centers.

00:35It's a whole campaign launched by the Ministry of Community Development and it will be for

00:40senior citizens.

00:41However, it will be conducted two days in each emirate in our community centers.

00:47So today and tomorrow we're having it in Dubai from 9 to 2.

00:49It is a very positive response.

00:51Today we are expecting more than 150 people coming in.

00:54In Ajman, where was our first station in this campaign, we received more than 75 and we

00:59are continuing in different emirates also.

01:01We invite all senior citizens to be part of this campaign in order to go back to our normal

01:07life and for them to practice their normal life and go back to the community and be safe
