00:17Dubai's Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management approved precautionary measures
00:21for New Year's Eve celebrations.
00:23And here are the rules you need to follow.
00:25Private, social, and family gatherings must be limited to 30 people with proper social
00:31distancing measures in place.
00:32To ensure social distancing, space should be calculated so that each person attending
00:37the gathering can have a minimum of 4 square meter space at the venue.
00:41Violators will be fined heavily at 50,000 dirhams for the host and 15,000 per attendee.
00:48Elderly people and those with chronic conditions are advised not to attend such gatherings
00:53and that any person experiencing symptoms such as coughing or fever must also refrain
00:58from attending events.
01:00Attendees must wear face masks at all times, authorities said.
01:04Authorities will also conduct random inspections and penalize violators.
01:08The committee called on families and members of the community to strictly comply with precautionary
01:13measures and avoid gatherings that do not adhere to guidelines.
