The city is all set to usher in 2023 on a high note and authorities have laid the ground to ease traffic movement and mobility of people on New Year’s Eve, the Executive Committee for Securing International and Local Events in Dubai announced on Thursday.

00:06Let's explore the traffic plan during New Year's Celebrations 2023 at Burj Khalifa area.
00:12To ensure your safety and ease of mobility during the New Year, check out the traffic plan organised around Burj Khalifa area.
00:22Kindly refer to the timings provided for each road closure on December 31, 2022 to depart before time and reach early.
00:36Starting from 4pm, Al Asayel Street towards Burj Khalifa will be closed.
00:44Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard will be closed.
00:49Burj Khalifa Street will be closed.
00:54The Financial Centre Street Lower Deck will be closed.
00:59Al Mustaqbal Street will be closed starting 4pm between Al Khalij Al Tajari First Crossing and Trade Centre Street.
01:09Al Suquq Street will be closed starting 8pm.
01:13Financial Centre Street Upper Deck will be closed starting 9pm.
01:19Burj Khalifa Dubai Mall Metro Station will be closed at 5pm or if the numbers exceed station's capacity.
01:26Please use the nearest metro station to reach the celebrations venue.
01:34Make sure your null card balance has a minimum of 15 dirhams for a round trip.
01:41Dubai's water canal elevators and pedestrian bridges will be closed in Jumeirah, Al Safa and Business Bay.
01:50We also advise to use metro stations where parking spots will be available, including Centre Point, Etisalat, Jabal Ali or Jumeirah Gulf Estate stations.
02:02Metro commuters can use the Red and Green Lines on Saturday December 31 starting from 5am to Monday January 2 at 12am midnight.
02:19Dubai Tram will be operational from 6am Saturday to 1am Monday.
02:26Alternative parking is available at Al Wasal Club and Al Jafaliya parking lots of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs for convenient transport to the venue via RTA's buses.
02:39RTA's buses are available to transport you to the venue at 3pm.
02:44If you prefer to drive your vehicle, depart early and you can park your car at Emaar District where 20,284 parking spaces are available at Dubai Mall, Zabil Fountain View expansions and Boulevard lower parking spots.
03:01Please note that parking on Al Khael Road and Sheikh Zayed Road in both directions is prohibited.
03:07There will only be shuttle bus services provided around the venue to ensure a smooth departure from Burj Khalifa.
03:14Public buses will be available to transport commuters to metro stations, Dubai taxi stands and the alternative parking for vehicles after the event ends.

03:30At the end of the event RTA's buses will take you to two taxi parking spots located at Al Wasal Club and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs Dubai Public Parking.
