00:001MDB Asset Recovery Task Force Chairman Johari Ghani reaffirmed Malaysia's commitment to

00:07recovering misappropriated 1MDB funds despite recent developments in the United States.

00:14Speaking to FMT, he said Malaysia continues to engage with various countries and agencies

00:19to reclaim assets linked to the scandal.

00:22He added that the ongoing dispute with Goldman Sachs over a US$1.4 billion asset recovery

00:28guarantee is currently under arbitration, with both parties agreeing to let arbitrators

00:33decide the outcome.

00:35Johari said Goldman Sachs argues that Malaysia has already recovered more than the guaranteed

00:39sum through fines, a position Malaysia rejects.

00:43He also said the government is considering legal action against seven international banks
