00:00The government insisted that they are continuing to find ways to help undocumented Filipinos in the United States,

00:08particularly in matters of legality.

00:10It should be noted that this past month,

00:13the possible return of illegal Filipinos living in the U.S. has been reported.

00:18According to Philippine Ambassador Jose Manuel Romualdez,

00:22there are FILAM lawyers and groups that are volunteering to provide free legal assistance to undocumented Filipinos.

00:30Aside from this, the assistance to nationals or ATM program led by DFA Undersecretary Eduardo Nivega

00:39was also formed to help those who need to be repatriated or to provide support in their situation.

00:46The FILAM groups said that if they can afford it,

00:51if they don't have the resources to pay,

00:56they're willing to do it for free.

00:58Some of them can really afford it.

01:01That's what we're doing right now.

01:03And also, we have the ATM, which is what we call the assistance to nationals.

01:08So there, Euseb Edna Vega is in charge of that one.

01:13He also is on top of this.

01:15We will find ways to be able to help those who really need our help

01:20in repatriating them or helping them along the way.
