00:04chief of staff General Romeo Bronner Jr. reiterated the country's plan to boost our

00:09territorial defense capabilities. The AFP chief highlighted anew the country's plan to acquire

00:14a submarine through the AFP modernization program especially amid the activities of the Chinese

00:20within our exclusive economic zone and archipelagic waters. The budget for the said program has in

00:26recent years increased by 29 percent with the administration allocating 35 billion pesos for 2025.
