PhilHealth Central Visayas denies bankruptcy allegations  PhilHealth Central Visayas denies allegations of bankruptcy, assuring the public that its services remains unaffected. Regional Vice President Marjorie Cabrieto addressed the issue on Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas on Feb. 11, 2025, following Supreme Court Associate Justice Amy Lazaro-Javier’s remarks that PhilHealth is ‘bankrupt’ based on a Commission on Audit report. Last Feb. 4, Lazaro-Javier questioned PhilHealth’s handling of its P89.9-billion fund transfer and its compliance with the Universal Health Care Act, which requires maintaining and investing reserve funds. 00:41And we're happy to inform our members that PhilHealth is committed to continue giving our services. Actually, we introduced new packages and we enhanced our packages, despite all these issues, these challenges. Kena lang sir ang commitment namin.

01:11We continue. We continue with our services. So wala ay dapat ikaw worry ang ato ng mga members because we have billions in reserve funds. And regarding sa mga issues, ongoing na na ang deliberation sa Supreme Court. So, padayod d'yon.
