00:02Obviously, it wasn't the most exciting football game, but it was just a absolute dominant

00:08performance by the Philadelphia Eagles.

00:10You got to give them credit for that.

00:12Was the game boring?

00:13Yes.

00:14But the Eagles pretty much played a perfect football game up until, you know, the fourth

00:20quarter when they took the pedal off the metal and they started celebrating on the sidelines

00:24a little bit.

00:25The game itself, you know, was terrible.

00:27It was boring.

00:28It wasn't any climatic, but as somebody that bet on the Philadelphia Eagles and as somebody

00:33that had the over in the football game, I was very pleased with the result when it was

00:38all said and done.

00:41You know, that defense of the Philadelphia Eagles is next level.

00:44Like they were just like absolute, a demolition crew, one after another, multiple players

00:51just assaulting the Kansas City Chiefs offensive line.

00:55I know a lot of Bills fans were upset that the Bills didn't make the Super Bowl, and

01:00I will say this, I don't know, were the Bills a beating out of the Eagles team yesterday?

01:05No.

01:06No one was beating out of the Eagles team yesterday.

01:08That was literally and figuratively just perfect football.

01:11Defensively, they were awesome.

01:13Offensively, you know, they were efficient enough.

01:16They put, you know, I mean, hell, they were up 34-0.

01:19So a dominant performance for the Philadelphia Eagles.

01:21Moving forward, it won't be quite as easy for them because players are going to want

01:24to get paid, and you know, there'll be a turnover, and it's always different once you

01:29lose that hunger, but damn good roster, and best general manager.

01:34I'd say the two best GMs, Scott, in the National Football League, there's, you know, I don't

01:39want to dismiss Kansas City's either, but the Los Angeles Rams and what they do in which,

01:45you know, they get the Super Bowls, they reload, they draft well, they're always competitive,

01:52and the Philadelphia Eagles, what can you say, man?

01:54Jeffrey Lurie and Roseman, these guys want to win, Scott, and they put their money where

01:58their mouth is.

01:59They find ways.

02:00You hear teams complain and say all the time, well, you know, we can't afford this player.

02:05You can't.

02:06Oh, there's a salary cap.

02:07Dude, the Philadelphia Eagles guys have six players making $20 million or more.

02:12They make it work.

02:13Right?

02:14Like a good example is now the Buffalo Bills.

02:16Oh, how are they going to afford Miles Garrett?

02:18Championship caliber teams make it work.

02:22And, you know, it's like losers have excuses and winners don't.

02:25And I think that's the difference.

02:26The Philadelphia Eagles, if there's a good player out there, they're going to go get

02:30them.

02:31And they don't care about the cap.

02:32They don't care about this.

02:33They'll make it work.

02:34They'll twist.

02:35They'll bend.

02:36They'll figure it out.

02:37You know, and they're not worried about offending people either.

02:39We're going to bring in another player to place a good position.

02:43They're a deep ass football team, you know, deeper than Kansas City.

02:46Let's just call it what they're a lot better than Kansas City and it showed.

02:50So I'm sitting there watching the game and I couldn't believe now I get it.

02:54People, I'm not stupid that they don't want to lose the audience, but, you know, I watch

03:01a game.

03:02It's 34.

03:03Not that I'm out.

03:04It's over for me.

03:05But I'm watching this game and I got this guy Burkhardt said at one point, quote, they

03:08need four scores and two two point conversions.

03:11And I wrote, is this serious?

03:13This guy.

03:14It was like there was two minutes left in the third quarter.

03:17This guy still thinks that the Chiefs are going to come back.

03:20They kept talking about Kansas City, Kansas City, Kansas City, Kansas City, Kansas City.

03:27And they never mentioned once how badly they were getting their ass handed to them and

03:33dominated with that tenacious D and just getting, I mean, just stomped.

03:39And this guy was running for his life and got ragdolled.

03:42They never mentioned it.

03:43They just kept talking about the Chiefs.

03:45I wanted to kill myself listening to those two.

03:48Well, he was running for his life all day without the time.

03:53Mahomes just got lit up.

03:54I mean, in the same way, though, that he did in the first game against his first Super

03:59Bowl loss against Tampa, the games were very, very similar.

04:03And I don't know what it is.

04:04Tom Brady seems to have an effect on people, as Nick Foles tweeted out last night after

04:10the game.

04:11Thanks to Tom Brady.

04:13building, which is a pretty cold shot, because Nick Foles beat Tom Brady in a Super Bowl.

04:18And now Tom Brady did the game last night.

04:21But Patrick Mahomes now 0-2 with Tom Brady in the building.

04:25Patrick Mahomes lost his only other Super Bowl that he lost before this was to Tom Brady

04:29in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

04:31Brady doing the broadcast last night.

04:34They were just overwhelmed, like from the start.

04:39You know, looking back on it, Scott, you know, being around, you know, we go to the media

04:44day and stuff and seeing the players around.

04:47And you can see the difference in their mentality.

04:50The Philadelphia Eagles were like all business, like they really were more, you know, about

04:56the game and stuff.

04:58And they weren't joking around very much.

05:00They were much more serious.

05:01The Kansas City Chiefs were loose.

05:03And I guess I think the Chiefs just sort of thought, you know what, we're going to win.

05:06This is what we do.

05:07We show up, we're going to win.

05:09But the team on the other side of the field, man, in the other locker room, Vic Fangio

05:14had a game plan.

05:15And let's give credit to what, to Kellemore and Sirianni.

05:19They kept it simple.

05:21But at the same point in time, they let Jalen Hurts throw the football, right?

05:26It couldn't just be Saquon Barkley.

05:27It had to be both of them.

05:30And Saquon was good.

05:31He wasn't great.

05:32You know, he ended up putting numbers up, but he wasn't, you know, the reason they won

05:36the football game.

05:37Jalen Hurts really was.

05:39And I give credit to Sirianni and Kellemore for trusting Jalen Hurts.

05:44For saying, you know what, this guy's got it, he can do it, and he'll win.
