00:12SEDC said it acknowledged concerns raised by the public regarding the zoning notice
00:17for Top Spot Food Court, a popular seafood spot located on the sixth floor of the Kuching
00:22Urban Transformation Center.
00:25According to the Borneo Post, SEDC said it would conduct further engagements with the
00:29relevant parties to ensure any final decision takes into account the best interests of everyone.
00:35It added that any updates on the matter would be communicated transparently to the public.
00:40SEDC said the Sarawak Islamic Department had proposed separating the dining areas into
00:45alcohol and non-alcohol zones in November last year.
00:49It said an agreement was reached between the department and SEDC the following month with
00:54the aim of enhancing the dining experience for all customers and ensuring the eatery
00:58accommodates people's diverse preferences.
