00:00Hi, I'm Dr. Suzanne Solomon, pharmacist and educator, and I'm here to talk about brain health.
00:09So for starters, you want to get enough sleep.
00:12Aim for about seven to nine hours of quality sleep every night.
00:17And next, look at your diet.
00:19A brain-healthy diet is really important.
00:22Plenty of fruits, berries, vegetables, healthy fats like avocado, fish, and nuts,
00:27and really limit your processed foods, especially sugary drinks, fast food, processed snacks.
00:33Try to limit all of that.
00:35Next, you want to exercise.
00:37Move your body because you love yourself, not because you have to move.
00:42Movement is really key.
00:44And then you want to keep your stress at bay.
00:46Manage it with meditation, deep breathing, exercise, yoga, hobbies, activities.
00:53And I always recommend a good supplement.
00:56Noreva is a favorite of mine.
00:58Unlike some supplements, such as Prevagen, which said it improved memory, but they can't support the claim,
01:03Noreva Plus actually supports up to six brain health indicators, including memory, when taken regularly.
01:10Plus, you can find Noreva right over the counter.
01:13You should also do cognitive stimulation, reading, puzzles, learning a language, playing an instrument, taking a class.
01:20Social activities are also important, and that could include conversing with others.
01:25And remember not to smoke and limit your alcohol, and that certain medications can impact your cognition negatively.
01:32For more information, you can visit Noreva.com.
