Should parents be allowed to take kids on holiday during term time?

We’re asking people around Cardiff if they think parents should be allowed to take kids out of school during term time on holiday due to price hikes during school holidays.

00:11end of term I don't think it's a big issue. For parents trying to get their

00:14kids to go on holiday obviously you want to travel with your kids and have

00:18that opportunity but equally it can be like a conflict of interest with like

00:22going into school time and I can see why some people do it and ultimately a lot

00:26of the things that are in place nowadays for to stop people going abroad or

00:32taking the kids out to go on holiday I don't think it really does stop their

00:35kids being taken out of school. Oh yes I believe so and also what is most

00:40important is learning for fun. I do understand however I think you know I

00:49don't think it's right I'm you know and I think there are opportunities for kids

00:54to have holidays because you know as is the state of education at the minute is

00:58really poor.
