00:00The DILG once again reminded the police to be neutral in the upcoming HATOL of BAYON 2025.

00:07The DILG is also studying the transfer of the Bureau of Jail Management and Tenology

00:18In the first opportunity, from the very back of the Department of Interior and Local Government,

00:30Secretary Junvic Remulia visited Cebu.

00:33An Arrival Honors was given to him by the Police Regional Office 7,

00:38together with the personnel of BJMP and BFP.

00:42The Central Visayas Police appointed Remulia with the confiscated loose firearms

00:48from October 1, 2024 to February 3, 2025, which amounted to more than 1,400.

01:07many lives will be saved and this will help us ensure a peaceful and successful election.

01:15Remulia also reminded the PNP personnel that there should be no allies in the upcoming midterm elections.

01:30Number two, there should be no allies.

01:33They can't function as a private army of politicians.

01:37They have to stay neutral, they have to stay professional.

01:40Remulia also said that there will be talks on the transfer of BJMP under the Department of Justice.

01:48There are discussions on the transfer of BJMP, the President already agreed,

01:52but it's in the process that BJMP will be transferred to the Department of Justice.

01:58It's in the process that the Department of Corrections will be transferred to the Department of Justice.

02:02Now, there are two, the Bureau of Corrections and the DOJ, and BJMP.

02:07And it doesn't make sense that there are two departments in charge.

02:10A closed-door command conference was also held.

02:14It was attended by senior law enforcement officials in Central Visayas.
