00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development reaffirmed that it will not use the programs of the agencies in aid.

00:07According to DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, it is the social workers themselves who are choosing the beneficiary

00:13and not anyone else.

00:15Gatchalian made a statement in front of the opening of Kamalikpan

00:19to the programs of the government to reaffirm the fair campaign in the Hatol ng Bayan 2025.

00:26It is likely that DSWD will remain open to all needs even if the programs of the agencies in aid are suspended.

00:35Not because there is an election, we will stop.

00:37If not, the programs will stop.

00:39But our campaign, our role in social protection, social welfare, is continuous.

00:44That is what was given as an exemption.
