00:00The Senate has received the impeachment complaint from the House of Representatives against Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:06This means that the second-highest government official will possibly face an impeachment trial.

00:17The impeachment complaint filed against Vice President Sara Duterte has finally reached the Senate

00:24as the articles of impeachment has been formally received by the Senate Secretary.

00:29House Secretary General Reginald Velasco turned over the articles of impeachment

00:34along with the list of representatives who signed the impeachment and the list of prosecutors.

01:00However, the Senate during its last session day before the election break did not tackle the impeachment.

01:06Right now, there are several options still being floated.

01:10Some senators say that they cannot predict what would happen but they will surely perform their mandate.

01:29It is the plenary action that would give us the go signal that we can...

01:35It's like when we have a break, even just committee hearings,

01:39you need to mention in the plenary that this is authorized by each member of the Senate.

01:48Now without the manifestation on the floor, can the Senate still meet or convene as an impeachment court
