00:00Let's get to Rory this week and I'll start with this.

00:02This is another and I hope I'm not betraying Rasmus's confidence,

00:05but he said this like three or four times and I just I loved it.

00:09He was just said he got to the T at 14 at Pebble and he's just

00:13looking up at the line that Rory's taking over that tree and

00:17he just gets smiles face starts laughing.

00:19He's like, I just don't see it.

00:21I still see that line there and I think that was just all week

00:24long the clubs, you know when he was hitting driver on 18 the

00:26clubs he was hitting in their lines.

00:28He was taking and for me, it was just marveling at a Rory

00:32that we see him at the ball far, you know all the time, but

00:36I don't know why it was this week.

00:37I mean, it was like a I think on 14 today was like a 340 carry

00:40off the T over that tree on 14.

00:42It just doing insane sorts of things and then capping off

00:46would have went at a place that he hasn't played a lot and

00:47hasn't necessarily played.

00:48Well when he has played here, so just your reactions on the

00:53way Rory played this week and you know what you're seeing

00:56in his game that indicates to you like this could be a year

00:58where he could win some big events and maybe win a couple

01:01majors.

01:02Well, I think with Rory it was obviously it was really

01:06impressive that you know, he's I think showing up you kind

01:09of knew what you had to do which was shoot somewhere between

01:12four to six under and hope nobody else got hot playing with

01:16Sep straka who had a one-shot lead didn't have his best day

01:19and Shane Lowry good buddy.

01:20So a really comfortable Ryder Cup European pairing in that

01:24final group, but I've just felt like Rory's back nine was

01:30just he hit all of the right shots.

01:32And when he drove it in that fairway bunker at 10, he had

01:35a six iron from 178 with the little lip.

01:38He had to go over and hit this like hold fade up against

01:41this in off the right wind to 20 feet makes the pot for birdie

01:45and then 12, which I think is a par hole par 3 out at Pebble

01:51you stuffs it right after Shane Lowry hit a beautiful one

01:53in there and makes a birdie.

01:55So right then and there, you know, when you're when you're

01:58up near the top of the leaderboard he hit the shots man,

02:02like that that's that's like understanding, you know, what

02:06you got to do on a Sunday to win a golf tournament.

02:09We talk all the time about what's it take for a guy to go

02:11win, you know to get over the hump whether it's a column

02:15workout.

02:16It's hitting shots like this on a back nine on a Sunday and

02:20he had three of a man.

02:21It's that that fairway bunker shot at 10 that the iron shot

02:24he had a 12 and then the drive he had a 14, you know, when

02:27you when you hit fly at 338 yards and taking a line like

02:31you're talking about that Rasmus said, I don't see it.

02:33Well, nobody else does either.

02:35So hitting is not short.

02:37He is not a short player.

02:38It's just words on a different planet.

02:40It's just having that gear is it's insane part of you know,

02:46every part of me is like is this is this good for Pebble

02:50Beach that somebody's hitting a seven iron into the screen.

02:52Like do we want that or are we kind of like this is awesome.

02:56I'm kind of like in between there because I do love how

03:02that that 14th hole at Pebble is like the kind of best should

03:06be risk award of to should I hit a driver and try to push

03:09a three would up in this small little area with OB working

03:12to the right and when you hit a drive like that, it's like,

03:15oh, all right, not a whole lot of trouble with with the

03:18seminar in your hands because that that outlier with a with

03:22a seven iron versus a three woods away way different.
