00:00President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. met with Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairperson

00:06Romando Artes to discuss updates on the NMDA Comprehensive Traffic Management Plan or the CTMP.

00:14The CTMP is a five-year action plan that aims to ease traffic congestion and NCR.

00:20The project will enable government to implement 12 traffic management strategies

00:25which includes the urgent improvement of the 209 identified traffic bottlenecks.

00:32Based on the data showed by the MMDA last year, at least 400,000 vehicles

00:37travel daily on EDSA that has a capacity of only 300,000 vehicles. Also present in the meeting

00:45were Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Interior and Local Government Secretary Junvi
