00:00A maritime expert made fun of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s statement about the issue of the West Philippine Sea.

00:08It is worth noting that President Marcos Jr. called on China that if it does not want to return the US Typhoon Missile System to the Philippines,

00:17China should also stop harassing Filipinos in the West Philippine Sea.

00:22According to University of the Philippines Professor J. Batong-Bacal,

00:25there was a temporary US Typhoon Missile in the area due to China's bullying and harassment of Filipino fishermen.

00:33He also added that the Philippines' desire is for peace, and the President's call is to show the resistance of a free country.

00:43It is more important for the entire Filipino people to unite and protest here,

00:50and our presidents should join this protest because we are all Filipinos.

00:55This does not depend on who is the president because what we should think about is the entire Filipino people.

01:03It is only right that we are united in this protest,

01:07that the waters of the Philippines, the West Philippine Sea, is for Filipinos.

01:13The Philippine Sea is owned by Filipinos, and China should follow the international law.

01:20We have been talking about this for a long time.

01:22Even in the 1970s, they were helping small countries to have an exclusive economic zone and continental shelf

01:33so that they would not be under the influence of the powerful.

01:36Now that they are powerful, they will suddenly turn against us.

01:39This is not right.

01:40We should uphold the law and follow it.
