00:00The Commission on Elections continues to remind us of the things that are prohibited during elections.

00:05This is the story of Bernard Ferrer.

00:10The number of people who voted in the election gun ban reached 554

00:14for the 2025 National and Local Elections, according to the Commission on Elections.

00:20The number of people who voted is 521 civilians, 18 security guards,

00:25four armed forces of the Philippines, four foreigners, and seven other individuals.

00:31The Commission on Elections continues to remind the public to follow the rules of the election

00:36including the gun ban effective from January 12 to June 11, 2025.

00:41So even if you have a license to own and possess firearms,

00:44even if the gun is registered, there is a firearm registration,

00:47and even if there is a permit to carry firearms outside of residence,

00:51if you do not have a certificate of authority or exemption from the gun ban,

00:57from the Gun Ban and Security Concerns Committee, you are violating the law.

01:01Anyone who violates the law may be jailed and disqualified from holding any position in the government.

01:07The Police continues to make checkpoints to ensure that the election gun ban will be followed.

01:13Meanwhile, 7 million were printed by the Comlec of Balota for the upcoming election.

01:19Their ballot production reached 1.9 million every day.

01:24Comelec is confident that before the 2nd week of April,

01:27we will be able to beat our deadline of 71 million ballot production.

01:32What we are looking at now is the passing and printing of all those ballots

01:37to automated counting machines.

01:39The first series of Comelec and DepEd personnel training

01:43that will help teachers who will serve on the Electoral Board has also ended.

01:47Training for PNP personnel who can serve on the Electoral Board in critical places has also ended.
