00:11This is what Zoana Rose Lopez of the Philippine Information Agency's Central Visayas reported.

00:19The employment rate in Central Visayas increased by 97.1% in 2024 compared to 96.0% in 2023.

00:28This is based on the data released by the Philippine Statistics Authority Region 7.

00:33The Department of Labor and Employment of Region 7 recognizes the companies registered

00:38as a business processing and outsourcing company as one of the first employers in Central Visayas

00:44based on its labor force survey.

00:46The type of industry that hires more or a lot of our job seekers are as follows.

00:53We have the BPO or the Business Processing, Process Outsourcing, the Wholesale and Retail Trade,

01:00Hotels and Restaurants, Manufacturing, Industries, and other services, community services,

01:11like HR Outsourcing.

01:14So these are the top industries that hire job seekers.

01:20The job seekers are encouraged to pursue their soft and hard capacitation skills

01:26and join the job fairs and programs conducted by the Public Employment Services Office.

01:31J.R. Arambuyong, a BPO employee, advises those looking for a job

01:37to find a balance between their skills and experience.

01:41The tips that I can give to those job seekers,

01:45just be confident and also if you want to look at the company's nature or nature of their work

01:53so that you can tailor your skills and also your experiences
