With the rising cost of going out, we ask the people of Glasgow if they’ve had to sacrifice.

00:00I used to go out all the time, but now I live by myself, I can't afford it.

00:03So, yeah, I suppose it is luxury,

00:05and I do drink in cheaper pubs out of the city centre, always.

00:14oh, my God, that is so much cheaper than Edinburgh.

00:16Yeah, cos we're from Edinburgh.

00:17Lauriston, McCool's, even though it's not really that cheap.

00:27Anywhere they've got deals on, anywhere cheap.

00:29Two-for-one cocktails, I'll be there.

00:33It's more expensive in Edinburgh, isn't it?

00:35Like, if we were going to the fairs or something here,

00:38then it's like, let's say £24 for one night,

00:42but when we came here, it's like £9 a ride, £6 a ride.

00:45For all the big ones, then it's like extraordinary...

00:52Especially in this country, we can't drink out in the street.
