00:20If before, it was done manually by baskets and nets in Lawag City,
00:25now the work of bamboo weavers is easier.
00:28With the help of the Department of Trade and Industry and the local government,
00:32a shared service facility was built for the bamboo weaving industry in Barangay 40, Balatong.
00:38And so that the production of bamboo crafts in the city does not stop,
00:43the Department of Labor and Employment and DTI provided machines and trainings for them.
00:50Before, they only made cribut, bilao, labba, that's all, sir.
00:56But now, it's improved, there are decorations, for lightings, decorations, that's all, sir, their products now.
01:05The bamboo weavers have nothing to be thankful for the government agencies
01:12because of these programs.
01:15The bamboo weaving industry is not only alive, but it also earns more for them.
