00:00This year, the Philippines' largest multi-arts event is coming back and that is the CCP Pasinaya Open House Festival

00:08which is already in the 11th edition.

00:11It is scheduled to be held on February 1 and 2 in different places or venues nationwide.

00:18And joining us now is Sir Dennis Marasigan, the Vice President and Artistic Director of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

00:28Good morning Sir Dennis and welcome to Rise and Shine Filipino.

00:35Alright Sir, for our viewers who are not familiar with Pasinaya,

00:41can you explain what the Pasinaya Open House Festival is?

00:45The CCP Pasinaya Open House Festival is a multi-arts festival that is held every year

00:53in celebration of the National Arts Month.

00:57Because February is National Arts Month.

00:59And what is done here is that different artists do workshops and performances.

01:08And for the viewers, they can sample these performances and performances.

01:16There is a time limit of 20 minutes.

01:19So you can watch as much as you can.

01:22You can workshop as much as you can.

02:20in Tagum, Davao del Norte, and Ilo-Ilo City.

02:27CCP Pasinaya will also be held

02:29in the Provincial Capital Grounds of Batangas City.

02:32We also have it in Sorsogon City

02:35and in Himamaylan, Negros Occidental.

02:38Aside from the circuits in Makati and Casa Metropolitan Theater.

02:44Sir, this year, there is a new addition to Pasinaya,

02:48which is the playgrounds.

02:50So what is this and why is it added to the first components of Pasinaya?

02:55Which are the playgrounds, venues, Paseo Museo-Palitan,
