00:00Council to former Iloilo Mayor Jed Mabilog expressed relief and satisfaction over the

00:05president's response to his client's missive plea care of Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.

00:11Former Iloilo City Mayor Jed Mabilog's request for a full pardon on the criminal and administrative

00:16charges filed against him by the former administration yielded a grant of clemency instead on his

00:22administrative cases.

00:24The president saw it fit to extend this presidential privilege to Mabilog after a review of his

00:29track record as local chief executive that hailed Iloilo City as one of the most livable

00:35cities during his term and the PEDEA citation of his anti-narcotics campaign that flies

00:41in the face of the Duterte administration's contrived charges of him being a protector

00:46of pushers and distributors.

00:49Still Mabilog has to face the standing criminal charges filed against him.

01:24... and will seek the truth and not the political or personal interest of some.
