00:16Several sectors in Eastern Visayas have unanimously agreed that there will be a peaceful, clean, and fair election.

00:22Advocates for Clean Elections, or AES, is led by the leaders of the sectors in the Church,

00:28Youth, Women, Urban Poor, LGBTQIA+, and Peace Advocates.

00:34According to Rev. Alfredo Tinio, spokesperson of the group,

00:38the people of the country must choose a candidate with a platform that meets the needs of the country.

00:44Alma Gabin, a former rebel and now a peace advocate, said that they want to be part of a peaceful and fair election.

00:53A manifesto of support was signed by the members of the Alliance for a Peaceful, Clean, and Fair Election in Eastern Visayas.

01:03As of now, several places in Rion are being guarded by the police

01:07due to the possibility of becoming hotspots in the upcoming election.

01:12We don't want the electoral system to be used to force them to go back to their country.

01:20We want them to have the strength to organize themselves.
