00:00Defense Secretary Guibo Chodoro talked to the new U.S. National Security Adviser, Mike Waltz, in the White House.

00:07When the arrest took place two days after U.S. President Donald Trump took office,

00:13Chodoro urged the Philippines to greet him because of the well-organized and successful transition of the leader,

00:20along with giving importance to the peace and mutual interest in the region.

00:25Waltz also emphasized the importance of a stronger cooperation between the Philippines and the United States,

00:31and he hopes that there will be more security activities between the two countries

00:37as a support to the free Indo-Pacific under the Trump administration.

00:42Aside from Waltz, Chodoro also talked to other new U.S. officials.
